Ability, Inventory, and Aptitude Assessments
I enjoy taking these assessments! Here are various and recent tests I've taken. I find it fascinating that I can retake these over the years and get nearly the same result. I think you'll see consistency across the assessments as well.
Feel free to ask me more about these, as I only have space to hit the highlights.
Working Genius
There are six types of Working Genius: Wonder, Discernment, Enablement, Invention, Galvanizing, and Tenacity. Two are considered primary (Genius) two are secondary (Competency) and two are challenges (Frustration)
My Genius are Discernment and Enablement. Defined as THE INSIGHTFUL COLLABORATOR - an intuitive, empathetic advisor and team player. Selfless and compassionate in providing others with what they need in the right way.
DISC
DISC is more of a personality test than a style assessment. There are four categories: Drive, Influence, Clarity, and Support.
I scored high in both DRIVE and INFLUENCE. Drive describes behavior that is assertive and results-oriented. They like to take decisive action and don't mind taking risks.
Influence means I'm enthusiastic, engaging, and like to build a sense of excitement and fun. They inspire and persuade with a natural charisma.
Enneagram Scores
The Enneagram is a personality system that aims to reveal how emotions drive our lives and how we engage, using nine personality types split into Body, Head, and Heart types.
Body Type: I am an 88% match with EIGHT. Eights see themselves as strong, powerful, and seek to stand up for what they believe.
Head Type: I have an 89% match with SEVEN, who desire to experience everything good and pleasurable the world has to offer.
Heart Type: With my 98% match to THREE, I have a strong desire to achieve and will become utterly absorbed into my goals.
Wonderlic
I have taken Wonderlic twice in 2024 as a pre-hire assessment, with consistent results. Wonderlic measures fit for a role, but provides really interesting insights about professional and personal drivers.
At the topline, I am comfortable in less organized environments and enjoy providing service and support, while solving complex problems and learning new things with little guidance. I am a strong problem solver.
My Natural Tendencies are SPONTANEOUS, CANDID and COMPOSED. My Personal Drivers are SERVICE, PERSUASIVE, and CREATIVE.
StandOut
StandOut helps people discover their unique edge by determining the roles best suited. There are nine roles: Influencer, Advisor, Pioneer, Stimulator, Connector, Equalizer, Creator, Teacher, and Provider.
I scored high as both EQUALIZER and CONNECTOR. I understand and can work within the system to connect people, especially in large organizations. Equalizers are level-headed people whose power comes from keeping the world in balance, both ethically and practically. And Connectors are catalysts whose power lies in putting things together for a greater output.
CliftonStrengths
Gallop Strengthsfinder, or CliftonStrengths Insights, is one we are all familiar with. I've taken it three times and three Strengths have been consistently part of my top five:
ADAPTABILITY
STRATEGIC
LEARNER
These Strengths have shown up in my top five as well:
RELATOR - has shown up twice
ARRANGER
DEVELOPER
ACHIEVER
INPUT
The Predictive Index
The Predictive Index is primarily used to ensure a match in the hiring process. It's a great way to measure current teams and identify areas of need in talent strategy.
